Study locates bound state energy of 6He nucleus, indicating effective modeling techniques.
The SS-HORSE–NCSM method has been used to locate the S-matrix pole in the closed three-body decay channel associated with the 6He nucleus bound state. The 6He bound state energy relative to the 4He + n + n threshold obtained in this approach based on the ab initio NCSM calculations in model spaces with excitation quanta up to N_max\; = \;18 with realistic Daejeon16 nucleonœnucleon interaction, is E_b\; = \; - 1.027\; ± \;0.012 MeV, which is in a reasonable agreement with the experimental value of E_b = - 0.973 ± 0.001 MeV.
