Education plays a pivotal role in enhancing health awareness among women in India. It empowers women with knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed health decisions, leading to improved personal, family, and community health outcomes. This paper examines the relationship between women’s education and health awareness, focusing on maternal health, disease prevention, nutrition, and socio-cultural transformation. The study also highlights challenges and suggests policy recommendations to improve health literacy among women. One of the most important contributions of education is that it helps women understand basic health and hygiene practices. Educated women are more aware of the importance of cleanliness, safe drinking water, and proper sanitation. They are more likely to adopt healthy habits such as regular hand-washing, balanced diets, and maintaining personal hygiene, which helps prevent many diseases.
