Observational
Clinical evaluation assesses procedural feasibility of valve-in-valve TAVR after ascending aortic replacement, highlighting coronary obstruction risks and anatomical constraints.
Initial surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) should be planned with consideration for future valve-in-valve transcatheter aortic valve replacement (ViV-TAVR). Reducing the risk of coronary obstruction (CO) and maintaining device deliverability are key factors that determine the feasibility of ViV-TAVR. However, the feasibility of ViV-TAVR after SAVR with ascending aortic replacement (AAR) remains unclear. The aim of this study was to identify factors associated with the feasibility of ViV-TAVR after SAVR with AAR.
