Li et al. (2026) conducted an RCT in Cholestatic liver disease (n=44). Intravenous mixed micellar vitamin K1 vs. Oral mixed micellar vitamin K1 2 mg was evaluated on Median serum vitamin K1 concentration at 6 hours (ng/mL). Intravenous administration of 1 mg mixed micellar vitamin K1 resulted in approximately 100 times higher median serum concentrations at six hours compared to 2 mg oral administration (139 ng/mL vs 1.4 ng/mL) in cholestatic infants.
