This poster compares changes in multiscale entropy and structural connectivity over the adult lifespan.
Aging is commonly associated with changes in brain structure and function. Multiscale entropy (MSE) has been used to characterize age related changes in functional brain activity, whereby aging is associated with a bias towards fine scale MSE. Likewise, the brain’s structure also appears to become less integrated and more segregated with age. This poster, presented at OHBM 2026, directly compares changes in MSE and structural connectivity over the adult lifespan.
