This document presents a framework for understanding nuclear structure and reactions, suggesting new interpretations of multiple nuclear phenomena.
This document provides the constitutional instantiation of the EET framework in the domain of nuclear physics. The nucleus is constituted as a composite constraint network: the nucleon is a Type I constraint vertex (matter, Ec>0, m=Ec/vₘₐₓ², $SU(2)$ spin and isospin graph connection indices, Particle v3.3 2.1); the nuclear force is the residual constraint coupling between color-neutral composite vertices in the QCD-congested (φ=φJ) regime --- the three components (central, tensor, spin-orbit) are three distinct Arrhenius excitation modes of Type II gluon edges on the constraint network; nuclear structure is the spectrum of the constraint network Laplacian L, with magic numbers emerging as spectral gaps (GT v3.0 III.2, CLOSED) and the liquid drop model as encapsulation boundary thermodynamics (HD v3.2 III.8); nuclear reactions are the five constraint operations (Formation, Meltdown, Maintenance, Transient Event, Capture) instantiated in the nuclear domain; nuclear thermodynamics is governed by the Five-Channel Complete Constraint Second Law (CND v4.0 III-C.2, CLOSED-in-EET); nucleosynthesis is a constraint formation chain driven by Arrhenius activation across all five channels. Five Core Constitutional Contributions. (1) Multi-Body Force Arrhenius Suppression. The systematic suppression of N-body nuclear forces (N≥3) is explained not by chiral effective field theory power-counting conventions, but by the Arrhenius exponential penalty e^-N·300\,MeV/kB Teff incurred by intermediate Δ resonance excitations required for irreducible N-vertex connected subgraphs on the constraint network (NP-1). (2) Magic Numbers as Laplacian Spectral Gaps. Magic numbers (2, 8, 20, 28, 50, 82, 126) are not phenomenological inputs but constitutional outputs --- they occur at nucleon numbers A where the Laplacian spectral gap λ₁ attains local maxima, a direct consequence of the Cauchy Interlacing Theorem (GT v3.0 III.4, CLOSED) applied to vertex addition on the constraint network (NP-4). (3) Fission Arrhenius Cascade --- Closed Constitutional Framework. The complete microscopic description of nuclear fission is provided by a self-consistent constitutional framework integrating five elements: Laplacian spectral evolution along the fission path (shell effects), dual-channel damping (dissipation: elastic ∝1-Γ, plastic ∝ C(t)), Coulomb repulsion (EM subnetwork interaction), five-channel entropy generation (thermodynamics, CLOSED), and constraint network path integral (CND v4.0 II-A, CLOSED) for numerical computation --- requiring no phenomenological dissipation tensors (NP-23). (4) Reactor Antineutrino 5 MeV Bump --- Arrhenius Density of States. The anomalous excess of reactor antineutrinos at E_ν~5--$7$ MeV is interpreted as a local enhancement of the Arrhenius Laplacian spectral density g(λ) in fission fragment constraint networks, with the specific prediction that the bump amplitude is larger for ²³⁹Pu than ²³⁵U fission (NP-13). (5) Symmetry Energy Arrhenius Framework. The symmetry energy S(φ) is expressed as the Arrhenius maintenance cost density-dependence of template-different vertices on the constraint network, providing a unified constitutional interpretation of the apparent tension between PREX-II (L≈106±37 MeV) and GW170817 (prefers lower L) as different Arrhenius response regimes probed by different experimental observables (NP-9). Eleven Major Nuclear Physics Problems Constitutionally Resolved. The document integrates EET constitutional resolutions for the following problems directly into the body text: NP-1 (multi-body force Arrhenius suppression), NP-2 (repulsive core as constraint congestion topology), NP-4 (magic numbers as Laplacian spectral gaps), NP-5 (Hoyle state as α-condensation Arrhenius resonance), NP-7 (r-process unified with s-process via Arrhenius cascade), NP-9 (neutron star EOS symmetry energy Arrhenius framework), NP-11 (constraint network as QCD-to-nuclear-physics constitutional relay layer), NP-13 (reactor antineutrino 5 MeV bump), NP-22 (proton spin crisis as encapsulation shell collective $SU(2)$ connection), NP-23 (fission Arrhenius cascade closed constitutional framework), and NP-33 (color glass condensate as Arrhenius congestion saturation limit). Nineteen additional problems are registered in the Academic Priority Registration and Constitutional Open Problems sections. Cross-Domain Bridges. Thirty-one bridge declarations (28 mother-text + 3 cross-REAL bridges to EM REAL v1.0) register the constitutional dependencies of all nuclear physics content on the upstream mother texts. The cross-REAL bridges establish the complementary relationship between the EM open subnetwork (φφJ) and the nuclear congested subnetwork (φ=φJ) as two extremal regimes of the same constraint network constitutional framework.
