Demonstrates improved transmission efficiency in a dual-band wireless power transfer system, suggesting effective energy transfer methods.
The present study deals with the design and implementation of a dual-band wireless power transfer (WPT) system using DGS model resonators. To improve transmission efficiency and minimize return losses and insensitivity to mismatch between resonators at their resonance frequencies, we introduce a gap in the ground layer. For the proposed system, the transmission power efficiency at frequencies of 330 and 770 MHz is 92.5 and 84.6%, respectively; the simulation results from both CST and ADS software are closely aligned, and the construction results corroborate the simulation findings. Also, the figure of merit (FoM) derived from the implementation results is 0.78 and 0.72 at respective resonance frequencies.
