Working paper outlines a framework for sustainable B2B knowledge services in Indonesia, indicating potential for MSME growth.
This working paper outlines the strategic and financial framework projected for Trah Daya Ilmu (The House of Knowledge Power), a proposed dual-division private research and data enterprise to be based in Tangerang, Indonesia. Positioned within the geopolitical shift of the "Asian Century," this proposal addresses Indonesia's private-sector R&D funding deficit (where private GERD stands at only 7.3% compared to the regional ASEAN average of ~71%). Integrating classical Confucian epistemology (the "investigation of things" from the Da Xue) with modern quantitative financial forecasting, this study provides a 3-year proforma outlook, detailed monthly break-even thresholds, and capital resource allocations. This framework serves as a model for sustainable, debt-serviceable B2B knowledge services designed to upscale and de-risk growth-oriented MSMEs.
