Proposed CSR framework aims to optimize human capital and nurture creativity in Indonesia's youth, suggesting a sustainable approach.
The "Gebyar Hasta Karya" (GHK) initiative is a proposed corporate social responsibility (CSR) framework designed by Trah Daya Ilmu (TDI) to strategically transform Indonesia’s impending demographic bonus into structured knowledge capital. While Indonesia possesses a massive raw demographic cohort exceeding 68.5 million active learners, the current national educational landscape suffers from a severe spending deficit, trailing regional peers with a public education expenditure standing at a marginal 1.3% of GDP. This structural constraint severely limits grassroots innovation, leaving a vast portion of the nation’s demographic surplus underutilized. The proposed GHK initiative aims to bypass these funding constraints by bridging secondary education with applied empirical inquiry through two targeted operational pipelines. The envisioned Scientific Research Pipeline is designed to deploy mainstream high school cohorts as research clerks, using a validated five-tier case-study pedagogical model to gather localized micro-market intelligence. Concurrently, the planned Creative Expression Pipeline adapts this framework for Children with Special Needs (Anak-Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus), shifting output metrics from technical manuscripts to artistic expression. To ensure long-term economic scalability without depleting corporate reserves, the proposed artistic track utilizes a Dual-Tier Capital Reallocation Structure—clawing back direct raw costs to replenish a revolving capital pool while remitting 100% of the auction's aesthetic premium directly to the student artisans. To operationalize this macro-level campaign proposal, the framework outlines a prospective Co-Investment Syndication Model with a consolidated target budget of Rp 1,000,000,000. TDI plans to inject an anchor capital fund of Rp 198,000,000 from internal reserves to secure program governance and initial infrastructure. The remaining Rp 802,000,000 is slated to be unlocked through external syndicated sponsorships targeting enterprise partners and institutional ESG funds. Once manifested, the GHK framework is modeled to yield a self-sustaining ecosystem that optimizes local human capital, drives private-sector R&D benchmarks, and establishes a secure, long-term corporate talent pipeline.
