Randomized trial maps targets of antibody-drug conjugates in ovarian cancer, suggesting optimal therapeutic strategies.
Antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs) are an expanding therapeutic class in ovarian cancer (OC), with mirvetuximab soravtansine targeting FRα as the only approved ADC. Several other ADCs, directed against TROP2, CLDN6, CDH6, ERBB2, B7-H4, MSLN, F3 (Tissue Factor), MUC16 (CA125), and NaPi2b, are under clinical evaluation. Understanding how these targets behave before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) and across tumor sites is essential for optimal ADC selection and sequencing and for avoiding unnecessary re-biopsies.
