This study examines the extent, range, and nature of 25 years of Christian leadership literature, identifying gaps in the literature and research priorities to advance the field. Using Arksey and O’Malley's scoping methodology, this study analyzed 1096 scholarly articles and doctoral dissertations examining geographic location, research approaches and methodologies, contexts, leader types, definitions used, theories addressed, research foci, and main topics. The results provide a map of the existing literature and implications for future research.
