Experimental generation of dual-layer twisted partially coherent beams shows high fidelity in light field manipulation, indicating potential applications.
The integration of array structures with twisted partially coherent beams provides additional degrees of freedom for complex light-field manipulation and enriches the design space of structured partially coherent light fields. Nevertheless, achieving high-efficiency synthesis and robust steering of twisted partially coherent light arrays poses a formidable challenge. In this study, we present an experimental scheme for the generation of customized dual-layer twisted partially coherent light arrays. The experimentally recorded light field profiles display high fidelity with numerical simulations, showing excellent consistency in intensity patterns. Moreover, it is demonstrated that the synergistic interplay between the array structure and twist factors allows for the precise tailoring of the beam field's propagation dynamics. Our findings clarify the influence of key parameters on beam evolution and provide a basis for further studies on the control of complex structured fields. These results may provide useful references for future studies on structured light and its potential applications in optical trapping, optical communication, and related fields.
