Explores mentoring effectiveness in business-education partnerships, suggesting improved integration outcomes.
The article examines the practice of forming and developing mentoring in the context of partnership between an information company and a university. The relevance of the study is due to the need for integration of business and education, as well as the increasing role of information technology and higher education as drivers of the digital economy. Theoretical generalizations, analysis of local regulations, training programs, and the results of our survey of employees of information and educational organizations allowed us to reveal the essence and key characteristics of mentoring, its benefits for all parties, and the forms of mentoring interaction and their significance. It is substantiated that an effective mentoring system in the context of business-education partnership is based on a dual learning model, in which theoretical training remains with the university, and the formation of practical competencies takes place directly in the partner company. It is shown that a systematic approach to mentoring (including a regulatory framework, planning, monitoring, and feedback) ensures the sustainability and effectiveness of the partnership. The research results can be used in the design of mentoring systems in organizations that interact with educational institutions.
