Introduces a framework exploring adaptive digital twins for enhancing system viability and harmony.
This paper introduces the concept of the Evolution of Digital Twins of Viable Systems as one of the principal intelligent instruments within the framework of Vitology as an interdisciplinary research program centered on system viability. Digital Twins of Viable Systems are understood as adaptive scientific models that continuously reproduce, analyze, evaluate, simulate, and improve the developmental processes of real systems while preserving the Norm of Harmony and progressively strengthening long-term viability. Unlike conventional digital twins that primarily replicate the current state of physical or technical objects, Vitology considers digital twins as continuously evolving intelligent scientific systems capable of discovering new harmonious configurations, generating new knowledge, refining navigation algorithms, and supporting informed decision-making within the Space of Harmony. Particular attention is devoted to the relationship between Digital Twins of Viable Systems and the Norm of Harmony, the Integral Norm of Harmony, Viability Navigation, Harmonious Combinations, Matrices of Harmonious Combinations, Algorithms of Viability Navigation, Awareness (Aw), Coordination (Con), Coordinated Systemic Integrity (CON), the Integral Model of System Viability (Aw → Con → CON), Feedback, Self-Regulation, Regeneration, Adaptation, Integral Systemic Conscience, Systemic Noise (Noise), and artificial intelligence as a continuously learning scientific partner.
