Life is not merely coded; it is patterned, related, restored and disclosed. This manuscript presents the Ontology of MetaGenetics as an exploratory theoretical framework for reinterpreting genetic systems through the lenses of coherence, resonance, holographic information, relational organization, and biological field dynamics. The aim is not to replace established genetics, molecular biology, epigenetics, systems biology, or evolutionary theory. Rather, the aim is to introduce a broader ontological architecture within which those disciplines may be reinterpreted as partial expressions of a deeper coherencestructured biological order. At the center of this proposal is a four-level hierarchy: whologene, hologene, coherogene, and gene. The whologene names the invariant coherence blueprint of the genetic system; the hologene names the distributed instructional layer; the coherogene names the relational genetic network; and the gene names localized molecular expression. The manuscript also introduces catastrophe and coherogenesis as the dynamic pair through which biological coherence is lost, restored, adapted, regenerated, and evolved. Because this framework extends across scientific, philosophical, and metaphysical registers, the reader should distinguish between established biological grounding, theoretical extension, speculative hypothesis, and metaphysical interpretation. This layered distinction is essential: MetaGenetics is best read as a speculative integrative framework and research orientation, not as a completed empirical science. The Ontology of MetaGenetics proposes a field-based and coherence-centered framework for interpreting genetic systems as relational, holographic, and multi-layered structures. Moving beyond a strictly gene-centric model, the framework introduces a hierarchy of biological organization consisting of the whologene, hologene, coherogene, and gene. The whologene is defined as the invariant coherence blueprint of the genetic system; the hologene as the field-level instructional medium; the coherogene as the relational network of genetic integration; and the gene as a localized derived expression of broader systemic dynamics. The manuscript develops the concepts of genetic coherence, catastrophe, and coherogenesis. Catastrophe is interpreted as a sudden loss of coherence, while coherogenesis is interpreted as the sudden restoration, emergence, or amplification of coherent organization. These ideas are applied across biological, evolutionary, technological, and philosophical domains, including systems biology, epigenetics, regenerative medicine, synthetic biology, holographic information modeling, biological field theory, and microcosm-macrocosm correspondence. The result is a theoretical proposal and research orientation for understanding life not merely as molecular code, but as coherence-structured, field-mediated, relationally organized, and recursively restored biological becoming.
