Conceptual framework aids evidence-governed Islamic dialogue assessment, enhancing intra-Islamic unity.
The ITDF Universal KPI Framework: Supplementary Workbook for Evidence-Governed Islamic Theological Dialogue is an English-language conceptual research instrument developed as a supplementary resource for the article From Aspirational Taqrib to Evidence-Governed Dialogue: A Measurement-Oriented Islamic Theological Dialogue Framework for Intra-Islamic Unity. The workbook operationalizes the Islamic Theological Dialogue Framework TDF through five higher-order domains, fourteen operational axes, six non-compensatory safeguard gates, and 280 candidate indicators. The catalogue is divided equally between 140 Strategic Progress Indicators SPIs and 140 Crisis Warning Indicators CWIs. SPIs address areas such as evidence traceability, semantic clarification, dialogue ethics, institutional learning, responsible follow-through, and governance maturity. CWIs identify risks such as authority bypass, doctrinal misclassification, coercive convergence, semantic distortion, unresolved escalation, privacy violations, data misuse, and inappropriate use of artificial intelligence. The workbook contains 23 structured worksheets supporting different users and stages of research. These include a comprehensive indicator dictionary, simplified student view, domain and axis maps, SPI/CWI balance analysis, audience-specific guidance, reduced-mode implementation pathway, scoring template, risk and validity register, provisional thresholds, data model, glossary, source register, change log, readiness assessment, formula guide, user-input template, professor dashboard guide, article-supplement guide, user checklist, and sample dashboard. The resource is intended for scholars, students, supervisors, dialogue institutions, reviewers, policy researchers, practitioners, and human-supervised AI/NLP analysts. Potential applications include teaching, thesis and dissertation design, expert review, instrument refinement, controlled pilot planning, evidence-governance assessment, dashboard prototyping, and future empirical validation. This workbook is a conceptual and pre-validation research artifact. It is not an empirical dataset, validated psychometric scale, established ranking system, or evidence of institutional effectiveness. The candidate indicators must not be used to measure doctrinal truth, piety, orthodoxy, sincerity, school legitimacy, salvation, or divine acceptance. They must not be used to rank Islamic schools or automate doctrinal judgement. AI/NLP applications are strictly assistive and require qualified human oversight. Future validation should include balanced multi-school expert review, modified Delphi rounds, CVR/CVI assessment, transparent weighting and sensitivity analysis, intercoder-reliability testing, bounded field piloting, dimensional diagnostics, and independent governance evaluation.
