This work shows vacuum coasting is not a solution in a closed brane model, indicating implications for cosmic expansion.
This work supersedes earlier HELS preprints that treated light-speed / coastingexpansion (a = ct or R = cT) as a vacuum law. Using Regge–Teitelboim dynamicsfor a closed S³ brane in flat 5D Minkowski space, we show that vacuum coastingis not a solution; light-speed bulk expansion survives only as an early-timeattractor. The homogeneous sector yields a geometric dust component from bulkenergy (Noether charge), with non-CDM scalings that serve as falsifiers. Theminimal model does not produce late-time acceleration.
