Final Report summarizes an archaeological survey showing no adverse effects on cultural resources.
This document is a Letter report summarizing the results of an intensive archaeological survey of the route proposed for a patrol road network for the Space Shuttle Launch Site at V23. no previously unrecorded archaeological sites were identified during the survey, although discoveries of isolated artifacts were made at four different locations. In addition, artifacts were observed at a previously recorded archaeological site, CA-SBA-1111, and potential indirect impacts could occur at SBA-550, a rock art site located just outside the survey area. As designated, the project will have no direct adverse effects on known archaeological or other cultural resources.
