Shows a new method for C-H arylation and sulfamidation in imidazopyridines, indicating high efficiency.
A simple and highly practical Sc(OTf) 3 ‐catalyzed CH arylation and sulfamidation of 2‐ a rylimidazo[1,2‐ a ]pyridines was developed. In this process, quinone monoimines and p ‐quinone diimides were employed as the arylating and sulfamidating reagents. The developed method demonstrates excellent regioselectivity, operational simplicity, and good substrate compatibility and the corresponding products were efficiently synthesized in 38%–90% yields.
