Ethical debate on the issue of organ transplantation has become one of the most important fields of thinking in bioethics. The complexity of the technology, possible simplification or manipulation, the risk associated with the pressure of the market mentality, open perspectives for future research, are all topics that should be thought about. For each category of transplantation (depending on whether they are performed with organs from dead body or a living person), societies establish a separate legal and medical rules that regulate these issues. In the case of transplantation from dead person (cadaver), an important criterion is to determine the donor's death. Currently the main difficulty in the development of the transplant program is the shortage of organs available for transplantation.
