Proposed model explains ball lightning properties and mobility through electromagnetic interactions, suggesting a novel framework in physics.
We propose a new model of ball lightning based on a regular core with exotic matter and electromagnetic confinement. The core is described by a smooth function that replaces the classical singularity with a finite region, while the electromagnetic field provides confinement and stability. The model predicts a spherical structure with negative pressure inside the core, and explains mobility through interaction with external electromagnetic fields. Numerical estimates are consistent with observed ball lightning properties: radius ~0.1 m, energy ~10^5 J, and lifetime from seconds to minutes. This work offers a new physical framework for understanding ball lightning and connects atmospheric phenomena with fundamental physics.
