Randomized trial uncovers a geometric origin for baryon asymmetry in particle physics, suggesting a unified solution.
The Universe contains far more matter than antimatter — the origin of this baryon asymmetry is one of the most profound unsolved problems in particle physics and cosmology. At the same time, the CP-violating angle θ of QCD is constrained to be below 10⁻¹⁰, yet the Standard Model cannot explain this extreme smallness. This paper proves that these two problems share the same geometric origin: the off-diagonal component Υ_μα of the information dissipation tensor couples to particles and antiparticles with opposite signs at a Type-B traversable singularity. During the electroweak phase transition crossing the Type-B singularity, this asymmetry is converted into a net baryon number via sphaleron processes, naturally yielding η_B ∼ 10⁻¹⁰. During the QCD phase transition crossing the Type-B singularity, the topological susceptibility remains positive definite, and the information bottleneck theorem protects the phase channel in the θ direction from being opened by dissipation; θ = 0 is geometrically locked. CP violation is not an accidental parameter of fundamental particle interactions but a geometric breaking. If future experiments rule out the contribution of off-diagonal information dissipation, or discover axions, or nEDM measurements detect a nonzero θ, this theory is falsified.
