Randomized trial demonstrates baryon asymmetry in the universe, suggesting a novel theoretical explanation.
The universe contains far more matter than antimatter—the origin of this baryon asymmetry is one of the most profound unsolved problems in particle physics and cosmology. The CP violation in the Standard Model is far too small to explain the observed baryon-to-photon ratio η_B ∼ 6 × 10⁻¹⁰. This paper demonstrates that the Order Parameter Spacetime Theory provides a natural explanation: as matter and antimatter cross the Type-B traversable singularity, the off-diagonal component Υ_EĒ of the information dissipation tensor causes different decoherence rates for particles and antiparticles, leading to CP violation. During the electroweak phase transition, this asymmetry is converted into a net baryon number via sphaleron processes. The observed baryon asymmetry η_B ∼ 10⁻¹⁰ naturally follows from the ratio of the off-diagonal to diagonal components of the information dissipation tensor, which is determined by the curvature scale at the Type-B singularity. The essence of CP violation is not an accidental parameter but a geometric breaking. If future experiments exclude the contribution of information dissipation to CP violation, this theory is falsified.
