Religion value gratitude as observed in several religious texts and research. However, few validation studies on the Gratitude Questionnaire (GQ-6) have been conducted in collectivist cultures with spiritual and religious themes. The current study validated the GQ-6 and explored mediation frameworks with gratitude as the mediator between Filipino spirituality and prayer for psychological well-being. 748 Filipino youth with an age range of 18-29 years old completed the GQ-6, Filipino Spirituality Scale, and Psychological Well-being Scale. Most of the participants were female and Roman Catholic. Confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha were conducted for the validation of the GQ-6 and GLM Mediation in JAMOVI with corrected bias bootstrap percentile for the statistical modelling. Findings indicate that the 4-item GQ-6 indicates better validity and reliability than the 6- and 5-item versions. Gratitude fully mediates the association between Filipino spirituality and well-being. The findings support the validity of GQ-6.
