This article proposes a new mathematical structure for the Universe, suggesting a shift from Riemannian geometry to symplectic manifold mechanics.
Contemporary physics postulates that mathematics is merely a descriptive language applied to an empirical material reality. In response to Hilbert's 6th problem, Massau Kinematics proposes to reverse this paradigm: the physical Universe would possess a pure mathematical structure. By postulating that the continuous substance of the Universe (the spatial Fabric) is a symplectic manifold, this article suggests replacing the Riemannian geometry of General Relativity with the mechanics of incompressible fluids. The apparent limits of physics (gravity, the illusion of dark matter, but also Planck's quantum and entanglement) can be modeled as direct phenomenological translations of the fundamental theorems of symplectic geometry (Darboux, Gromov, symplectomorphisms).
