Conceptual proposal reveals how gravity and Yang-Mills interactions share a fundamental curvature principle.
This work presents a conceptual proposal in which General Relativity and Yang–Mills theory arise as distinct reductions of a common BF-type structure. The central hypothesis is that curvature, rather than spacetime geometry or gauge symmetry individually, constitutes the primitive physical object. Under suitable reductions, the same BF dynamics generates geometriccurvature associated with gravitation and internal curvature associated with gauge interactions. The proposal does not introduce a new BF theory. Rather, it offers an interpretative framework in which Einstein gravity and Yang–Mills interactions may be viewed as complementary manifestations of a single universal curvature principle.
