Abstract 10-Azacorroles were reacted with large excess isoamyl nitrite to obtain the tri-NO2-10-azacorroles and the tetra-NO2-10-azacorroles in moderate yields. The structures of all the products were characterized thoroughly by NMR, HRMS, and X-ray crystallographic analysis.
