Hypoadiponectinemia is Associated With Impaired Glucose Tolerance and Coronary Artery Disease in Non-Diabetic Men

232 non-diabetic men who underwent coronary angiography at Kumamoto University Hospital (Japan) because of an abnormality on ECG or angina-like symptoms. Excluded: acute coronary syndromes, malignant disease, infectious disease, chronic inflammatory disease, autoimmune disease, advanced renal disease (serum creatinine >2.5 mg/dl), and those diagnosed with diabetes mellitus following an oral glucose tolerance test.
