Summary The genus Chaleposa Simon is revised. The 10 known species are described including two, Chaleposa hirsuta and C. wanlessi, new to science. The type material of 13 nominate species was examined, 7 lectotypes are newly designated and 5 new combinations are proposed. The genus Proevippa Purcell is found to be a synonym of Chaleposa.
