We have studied resistive transitions in Josephson-junction arrays with different values of x , the ratio of the Josephson coupling energy to the charging energy. In zero magnetic field, we find a superconductor-to-insulator transition at x = 0.6, which is in good quantitative agreement with theoretical predictions. In arrays with half a flux quantum applied per cell, a similar SI transition occurs at x = 0.9.
