The depolarized light-scattering spectrum for dense fluids of nonspherical molecules is calculated, using Felderhof's scattering-dielectric theory. Under the assumption that molecular reorientation is the slowest process which contributes to depolarized scattering, the spectrum will contain a sharp line, corresponding to reorientation, superimposed upon a broad background; the sharp line integrated intensity, I Sh, is obtained. The scattered intensity due to orientational fluctuations, I Or, given in the first article (I) of this series, is then re-expressed via the Felderhof theory. To a very good approximation, it is found that I Or = I Sh. Our main conclusion is that, for molecules whose experimental spectrum shows a sharp line, the intensities calculated in (I) should be compared with the intensity in the sharp line.
