Triiodothyronine (T3) therapy at subreplacement doses of 10 μg twice daily for 4 weeks, followed by 20 μg twice daily for another 4 weeks

Ankle reflex time, but not systolic time intervals, discriminates between patients with minimal TSH elevation and normal controls in response to T3 therapy, suggesting mild tissue hypothyroidism in the former.
