The work reported focuses on the structure–property relationships of a new series of segmented polyether–polyester copolymers. Poly(ethylene oxide‐hydantoin) is the soft segment, while poly(tetramethylene terephthalate) is the hard block and is suceptible to crystallization. The structure–property relationships have been addressed under three different subdivisions: (1) mechanical properties, (2) orientation effects and phase separation, and (3) morphology and superstructure. Where possible, a correlation has been made between these three categories.
