Three primary factors consider the ascendance of China, the Indo-Pacific strategy of the United States, and the role played by ASEAN. The research is significant as it offers profound insights into how Vietnam can adapt its foreign strategy to safeguard its sovereignty and advance economic growth in the face of global instability. The study utilizes a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative methods, and gathers data from international and domestic sources to suggest strategic recommendations for Vietnam to capitalize on opportunities and address challenges in the present global context.
