The aim of this article is to revive interest in a very simple model of the uniformly distributed RC network, published many years ago. This is done by demonstrating its effectiveness in predicting the rise and delay times of such a network, loaded with a series RC load. We compare the data so obtained with those of the actual network, both calculated by applying Elmore’s definition.
