A display device for critical switching curves of magnetic thin films consisting of a standard TV receiver and simple attachments is described. The deflection currents of the picture tube are passed through a set of driving coils for applying two-dimensionally scanned fields on the film. The switching transient voltage induced in a pick up coil is used in place of the video signal of the TV set to obtain the display.
