Summary Zinc oxide was fed as a supplement (10 grams per cow daily) to the ration of eight cows for a period of three months by the double reversal method. The milks from the cows were analyzed for their zinc content and it was found that feeding the zinc supplement had consistently raised the level of that element in the milk, the average being 5.1 mgms. of zinc per liter of milk as contrasted with an average of 3.9 mgms. when the cows were on a control ration.
