What are the risk factors and clinical course of amiodarone iodine-induced hypothyroidism?
Amiodarone-induced hypothyroidism is often transient and resolves upon drug withdrawal in patients with normal thyroids, but frequently persists in those with underlying thyroid abnormalities or autoantibodies.
