Two independent lines of GRK2 knockout (KO) mice (cardiomyocyte-specific GRK2 ablation, constitutive at birth or inducible in adult mice) and cultured cardiomyocytes.

Intervention

Cardiomyocyte-specific GRK2 ablation (in vivo) and GRK2 mRNA silencing (in vitro) subjected to 30 min of myocardial ischemia via coronary artery ligation followed by 24 hrs reperfusion.

Comparator

Appropriate control mice subjected to sham procedure or 30 min of myocardial ischemia followed by 24 hrs reperfusion.
