Conceptual preprint develops a framework for dark sector dynamics using spacetime-energy relations, suggesting new observational criteria.
This conceptual preprint develops Version 0.2 of the Φ Spacetime-Energy Relation, a framework motivated by the mutual dependence of spacetime geometry, energy content, mass, and temporal evolution. The original heuristic expression Φ = V(r)E(t) is dimensionally ambiguous if E denotes total energy. Version 0.2 therefore interprets the second factor as an energy density and replaces the product, in the general inhomogeneous case, with a regional energy functional. This correction makes Φ mathematically well defined but does not by itself constitute a new physical law. The proposed new content is a candidate geometric degree of freedom χ and a covariant exchange vector Q^ν. A metric f(R) construction is used as a benchmark route by which χ can arise from modified geometry. Sector exchange is written so that total energy-momentum remains covariantly conserved. In the minimally coupled baseline, ordinary baryonic matter follows geodesics and has no direct exchange term. The framework asks whether one fixed χ dynamics could display a matter-like, clustering regime in the early universe and a smooth, negative-pressure regime at late times. The manuscript defines observational requirements and failure criteria involving the cosmic microwave background, structure growth, galactic dynamics, gravitational lensing, cluster collisions, local gravity, gravitational-wave propagation, and the expansion history. It presents a falsifiable research programme rather than an empirically confirmed replacement for ΛCDM or a theory of quantum gravity.
