DC demagnetization and magnetic viscosity measurements were made on SmCo/sub 5/ nanoparticles prepared by ball milling. The field dependence of the magnetic viscosity and irreversible susceptibility, /spl chi//sub irr/, were found to be identical. With appropriate normalization, /spl chi//sub irr/(H) for different temperatures scales to a universal function of the reduced magnetic field, H/H/sub c/.
