Why the study?
The management of non-culprit coronary arteries during myocardial infarction remains under discussion.
Does T1 mapping identify obstructive non-infarct-related arteries in STEMI patients?
Does T1 mapping identify obstructive non-infarct-related arteries in STEMI patients?
T1 mapping and CMR tissular analysis may be useful for identifying obstructive non-infarct-related arteries in STEMI patients.
The treatment of non-culprit coronary arteries during myocardial infarction is still today under discussion. This is the first study performed in STEMI patients that identifies obstructive non-IRA using T1 mapping and in which, CMR tissular analysis might provide interesting complementary information.
