This research aims to compare the efficacy and aesthetic results of three septal extension graft methods in rhinoplasty.
Retrospective analysis of 90 individuals undergoing rhinoplasty from 2022 to 2025, with n=30 per group for three graft techniques.
Patients randomly assigned to Classic Septal Extension Graft, Full-Transfixion Septal Extension Graft, or Extended Spreader Extension Graft.
Primary outcome measures included Integrated Nasal Tip Aesthetic Score, nasolabial angle, and tip projection ratio.
FT-SEG group had significantly higher final INTAS scores (51.6 ± 2.3) than SEG (47.8 ± 2.6) and ESEG (46.3 ± 2.9) with p<0.001.
FT-SEG group reported the highest patient satisfaction score (9.4 ± 0.4; p<0.001).
All groups showed functional improvements, with lower NOSE scores in SEG and FT-SEG groups.
