Proposed Semantic ABI facilitates structured knowledge transfer in Large Language Model environments, highlighting efficiency in information sharing.
We present Canonical Knowledge IR (CK-IR), a candidate Semantic ABI (Application Binary Interface) designed for the semantics-preserving transfer of structured knowledge across heterogeneous Large Language Model (LLM) runtimes. Rather than transferring conversation histories, CK-IR transfers structured knowledge states represented as a typed, media-independent intermediate representation.
