5 patients with suspected pulmonary vein stenosis (PVS) after radiofrequency pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) for atrial fibrillation, based on clinical symptoms and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) follow-up.

Intervention
Drug-eluting stent (DES) implantation (paclitaxel or zotarolimus) in one or more branches of the affected pulmonary vein (total 8 DES implanted, 7 paclitaxel).

Outcome
Stent patency and restenosis assessed by repeat pulmonary vein angiography and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) Doppler maximal flow velocity (Vmax).surrogate
Initial experience suggests that drug-eluting stents for pulmonary vein stenosis after atrial fibrillation ablation have excellent patency rates and can be effectively monitored via TEE.
