Retinoblastoma: Tandem TherapyWe previously described our initial experience with superselective ophthalmic artery delivery of chemotherapy for advanced retinoblastoma and emphasized that it was both effective and safe for both the patient and eye. 1,2In each of those cases, only 1 eye was treated with this novel technique.We now report on the first 4 patients with advanced (Reese-Ellsworth group V) bilateral disease in whom initial management was bilateral treatment accomplished during the same treatment session.Before After Case 1, right eye; 1 TTT session Case 1, left eye; 7 TTT sessions, 2 cryotherapy sessions Case 2, right eye; 4 TTT sessions Case 2, left eye; 4 TTT sessions Case 3, right eye; 1 TTT session Case 3, left eye; 6 TTT sessions Case 4, right eye; no TTT Case 4, left eye; 4 TTT sessions
