At six months, 65.9% of evaluated eyes (31/47) reached an uncorrected visual acuity of 20/40 or better, and 34.0% (16/47) reached 20/25 or better.
Best corrected visual acuity was preserved within one Snellen line in 78.7% of eyes (37/47) at six months, while 14.9% (7/47) lost two lines and 6.4% (3/47) lost more than two lines.
In the extended follow-up subset at 24 months, 71.4% of evaluated eyes (5/7) achieved uncorrected visual acuity of 20/25 or better, and 100% maintained their best corrected vision within one line.
