Confirms X(2370) as a light pseudoscalar glueball in glueball physics, suggesting new frameworks for particle composition.
The BESIII Collaboration has recently established, through a complete chain of experimental evidence over fifteen years, that the dominant constituent of X(2370) is the lightest pseudoscalar glueball with JPC=0⁻⁺. This marks the first experimental confirmation of a pure gauge-field bound state—a particle composed entirely of force mediators without valence quark constituents. We interpret this discovery within the Logical Universe (LU_v3.1) framework, which posits that all localized matter is topological knots of the right-handed light field ρR. In this framework, the glueball is identified as a pure field topological soliton—a self-closed light-field knot requiring no fermionic core for stability. We derive the mass difference between the glueball and the proton from the topological compression ratio η and the knot closure degree Θₖₙₒₜ, and we predict a tower of higher-topological-charge glueball states with masses mₙ = n · mX(2370). The LU framework provides a unified geometric language for describing fermion-composite solitons (protons), pure-field solitons (glueballs), and macroscopic solitons (superconducting vortices) through a single topological dynamics equation.
