This research followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines, including screening 253 studies and selecting 44 articles. Our results highlight the importance of career development practices, including organizational practices such as mentoring and training programs, as well as career self-management behaviors like exploration.
