Crystals of the composition lqa0.sVeO15 give no diffuse spectra by which this may be assessed, but single crystals of Ba~_~TisO~e, which is isomorphous with hollandite, offer additional evidence which is being investigated both by X-ray diffraction and dielectric absorption measurements.
